RULES & VARIANTS / Casino Games

The table says Player and Banker, but there are dice instead of cards. Familiar labels do not mean baccarat card values apply. Wait for the complete result and use the right rules.

## Short answer

Evolution’s Bac Bo uses four dice: two for Player and two for Banker. The higher two-dice total wins, and tied totals have their own payout conditions. It is a different format from card baccarat and three-dice Sic Bo. [\[1\]](https://paldokadito.com/games/bac-bo/#guide-source-expansionBacBo) 23 Oct 2026

## Which numbers form the result?

The supplier describes adding the two dice for each side and comparing the completed totals. It also says tie payouts vary with the tied result. A single displayed die is not a completed side total. [\[1\]](https://paldokadito.com/games/bac-bo/#guide-source-expansionBacBo) 23 Oct 2026

**Hypothetical completed totals**

| Player dice | Banker dice | Comparison only |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 2 + 5 = 7 | 3 + 3 = 6 | Player has the higher total. |
| 4 + 4 = 8 | 2 + 6 = 8 | The totals tie; read the tie settlement. |
| 1 + 2 = 3 | 5 + 4 = 9 | Banker has the higher total. |

## Why does the exact tied total matter?

Do not read a headline maximum tie payout as the payout for every tie. Find the schedule for the completed total and distinguish the optional Tie wager from how main-side wagers settle. Those are separate questions.

For a dispute, record all four dice, the accepted betting areas and the final round reference. A screenshot taken while some dice are still moving cannot establish the settled result.

## Keep three similar-looking formats apart

- Bac Bo: compare completed two-dice totals on each side.
- Card baccarat: use its card-scoring and drawing rules.
- Sic Bo: read a three-dice betting grid with different wager conditions.

Check the selected product’s own help panel, stake limits and tie treatment before funding a session. None of these labels establishes a casino’s withdrawal speed or account eligibility. Keep those operator questions separate.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Bac Bo use baccarat’s last-digit scoring?

The cited Bac Bo product compares the sums of two dice per side. Do not apply card-baccarat scoring. [\[1\]](https://paldokadito.com/games/bac-bo/#guide-source-expansionBacBo) 23 Oct 2026

### Does a tie always pay the headline maximum?

No such rule follows from a maximum. Read the applicable payout for the tied result.

### Can an early displayed die settle the round?

Use the completed result and accepted-bet record, not a partial display.

### Is Bac Bo the same as Sic Bo?

No. This Bac Bo example uses four dice split into two sides; Sic Bo uses a different three-dice layout.
